Welcome to Jocelyn M. Wood, PLLC’s (“JMW”) “we,” or “us”) Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy discloses the privacy practices for www.jocelynmwood.com (“Website”).  This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by the Website. It will notify you of the following:

1.  What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the Website, how it is used and with whom it may be shared;

4. How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to any other websites operated by JMW at other domains. Additionally, the Website may contain links to other websites, and we are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy policies of external websites.  Specifically, be advised that JMW utilizes several services in the creation, maintenance, marketing and operation of the Website including, without limitation, third-party payment processor in connection with providing payments for products, online courses, and services offered on or through the Website.  JMW does not own or operate these services and as such does not make any warranties with respect to these services, the companies that provide them, and the information that they may independently collect about you including, without limitation, any personal or anonymous information.  These services include, but are not necessarily limited to: Google Analytics,  Stripe, Inc. (stripe.com) and/or Thinkific.  Please review the Privacy Policies, Terms and Conditions and other rules associated with these respective services to better understand what information they collect as you Use the Website and how they use that information.  JMW may, at any time and without prior notice, change the services it uses to create, maintain and operate the Website.  Please refer back to this page, as well as the Terms of Services page to stay apprised of any changes.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

By using the Website or submitting information through it, you are consenting to JMW to collect, process, use, store, and distribute information you provide and data that the Website gathers about how and from where you access the Website.

Categories of information we collect include forms you fill out and submit, logs about your connection such as your IP address, the browser you use to access the Website, and the specific resources you request or with which you interact. The Website provides and collects cookies and logs IP addresses, which allows us to uniquely identify your browser and which may be an online identifier we can use to assume or estimate your demographic information, location, and/or your identity.

The Website is not directed towards minors. By accessing, viewing and using the Website, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use the Website. However, under no circumstance may a child under the age of 13 use the Website.  In that regard, JMW does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. JMW does not solicit or willingly collect any personal data from residents of the European Union and does not market or provide any goods or services to any entity therein nor monitor their behavior.

By providing personally identifiable information on the contact forms on the Website, we will collect, store, and use this information to respond to your inquiries and to market our relevant products and services to you. Any personal data entered by members of the European Union will be deleted upon discovery.

JMW reserves the right to share information we collect through the Website with third parties, such as web analytics technologies, to help us better understand the types of visitors that access the Website to provide a better, personalized experience. • Californians may request information about specific information we have collected about them through the Website as well as request we delete information they have submitted to the Website, pursuant to the conditions of the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the Website, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information, that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the Website.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
